Great Teacher, Savior of the World, or Madman ? Who ever you think He was there is no deny the fact that He changed the world forever.

To His followers He was a friend, a leader and much much more. In fact most of His closest followers died rather than deny Him. Would you die for a lie ?

The Book makes it clear: He was God Himself ! That isn't enough for you ? Look at the cross that He hung on. Look how we died, not a word. Not an angry word or a sorrowful face, but confidence in what He was to do. Still not enough ? Look at the empty grave, look at the disciples preaching about Jesus. Where did His body go ? It was guarded by Romans ! Why are they preaching.

Jesus died and was raised to life again. Only God can do that. He lives and He will live in you, if you only ask Him to.

What a glorious day, nearly 2000 years ago, when Jesus Christ
rose from the dead, to forever defeat sin and Satan, and to give
eternal life to an undeserving mankind. This is the gift of Grace
from God: that we can have eternal life - not because we earn it
or because we perform good works - but because we believe that
Jesus is the one and only Savior.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

At Horizon, Jesus Christ lives in its congregation, Church staff, and
individually in the hearts of every believer. As pastor Perry often
reminds us, "It's all about Jesus !"

The excitement that the followers of Jesus must have felt when
they discovered his empty tomb, and that he had risen from the
dead to give salvation to all of mankind, continues to be present
at Horizon. While man can never be perfect, we know that our sins
are forgiven through Him. Through worship, Bible study, fellowship,
prayer, and faith, our lives are enriched every day, as He guides us in life.
